Welcome to Giessen 2015!

Dear Colleagues,
Dear Fellow Scientists,

On behalf of the University of Giessen and the von-Behring-Röntgen-Stiftung, we extend a warm invitation to all scientist and clinician interested in this meeting.

The drastic alteration in bone physiology and structural properties resulted from bone disorders reflects on bone substitute materials integration and function.

When we contemplate the advancements in bone disorders especially osteoporosis and multiple myeloma in our thoughts go to the contributions of German research institutions as an integral part of European and international scientific community.

Part of research is sharing ideas and learning from each other. We would like to take this chance to learn about your achievements in the treatment of bone diseases and fractures. Our researchers and clinical follows would share their theories, ambitions and latest results obtained during the collaborative research center SFB/TRR 79 in improving biomaterials and implants to enhance healing in systemically diseased bone.

We are looking forward to an unique opportunity of opening the door for multidisciplinary think tank to evolve into cooperative research projects reflecting on patients quality of live.

You are all cordially invited to Giessen.
